The deadline to apply for the Knight Science Journalism Fellowships at MIT is March 1.
The fellowship provides nine months of study in Cambridge, Mass., for mid-career science journalists.
The 14-year-old program is open to staff and freelance journalists working radio, television, newspapers, magazines, and news agencies, with at least three years' full time experience. Six journalists from the United States or Canada are chosen each year by a selection committee of leading science journalists and MIT faculty.
The winners will be named late in April for the academic year beginning Sept. 1.
