Statement of Disbursements. This project takes the raw CSV files from
house.gov
and enriches them with legislator identifiers, so you can easily connect
spending to specific members of Congress.
Bioguide ID
Unique identifier for each member from the official Congressional Biographical Directory.
Member Name
Standardized name from congress-legislators, matched to the raw organization field.
Party
R (Republican) or D (Democrat), sourced from the member's term record for that Congress.
State & District
Two-letter state code and district number for the member's seat.
Congress Number
Which Congress (e.g. 118th) the quarter falls under, derived from the year.
Member Flag
Boolean indicating whether spending is from a member office vs. a committee or administrative office.
