- Description/Excerpt: Based on a News Herald investigation that cross-checked the Social Security Administration's death records with the Bay and Jackson counties' voter registries, Indingar was one of 10 people who appeared to have cast votes while dead. All of those cases turned out to be explainable.
Most of the 10 people are in fact alive and either were contacted by a reporter or a family member spoke for the person. The mix-up generally involved common first and last names but different Social Security numbers.
